Sainik School Entrance Exam  (AISSEE) 2023: AISSEE 2023 Exam Date, Admit Card, Application Form, Result All India Sainik School Admission Procedure 2023 will be released by CBSE. Sainik Schools Society New Delhi will invite application from Students who are looking for Admission in Sainik Schools for the academic year 2023-21. Aspirants will be able to Apply finished Online/Offline Mode from  October to November 2019. All India Sainik School Entering Exam 2023 will be held in January 2023.

 About of Sainik School:

The Sainik Schools remained regarded in 1961 with the aim of preparing boys academically, physically & mentally for Entry into the National Defence Academy. The Sainik School organization is recognized and managed by the Sainik Schools Society, Ministry of Defence. The main objective of the Sainik Schools is to bring Public School teaching within the reach of the common man. It formulates the students/candidates to lead as officers in the Defence Amenities of the country. There are around 26 Sainik Schools in the country. The schools focus on mounding overall temperament of the students with stress on extracurricular activities. Sainik schools believe in the all-round development of the cadets which enable them to become good and valuable citizens.

AISSEE 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

  • Age Limit standards for admission in Sainik School as of March 2023
  • Class 6 – 10 to 12 years
  • Class 9 – 13 to 15 years
  • The Entrance Examination will be detained for admission to class VI and IX. Boys who are between the age of 10 to 12 years or 13 to 15 years correspondingly on 31st March of the year in which admission is required are eligible to take the Entrance Exam. For admission to Class IX, the boys should be learning in Class VIII in a recognized school. Admission will be made severely in order of merit only in classes VI and IX.
  • Only boys’ aspirants are qualified to take admission in Sainik School all over India

Exam Test

  • The printed Entrance Examination will be held in January 2023 from 1000 forwards. Detailed Program will be guilty by the leading Schools
  • Due to alteration in format, the total number of queries in class VI, as well as IX, may change.


  • Class 6 – Hindi/ English/ Local Language of the State
  • Class 9 – English Language Only

AISSEE 2023 Application Fees

  • The Registration charge will be included in the vending price of the prospectus-cum-application forms at the following rates:
  • Candidates who go to General and Defence Category For Rs.400/-
  • For SC/ST Category Aspirants – Rs.250/-
  • Mode of Fee Payment – Demand Draft


  • 15% of the total seats are earmarked for Scheduled Castes and 7½% seats for Scheduled Tribes( SC or ST).
  • Out of the remaining, 67% of the seats will be earmarked for boys from the State in which the Sainik School is located. Balance 33% left over of seats will be thrown open to boys from other States and Union Lands in the ratio of their male population
  • Any unutilized seats in this group will be compound with home State seats (In this joining, please mention to this office letter No. 4(1)/SSS/2016) dated July 2017) in command of merit.
  • 25% of seats are earmarked for children of service workers including Ex-servicemen
