BHU SET known as Banaras Hindu University School Entrance Test . This entrance exam gets conducted by Banaras Hindu University at the university level one time in a year. SET exam offers admission into Central Hindu Boys School and Central Hindu Girls School .Applicants are advised to go through given detailed information regarding BHU SET exam.
Banaras Hindu University admits many eligible and dynamic girls and boys each year in classes VI, IX and XI in the Central Hindu Girls’ School and Central Hindu Boys’ School through a CET generally called as BHU SET. BHU will soon issue application form for admission of students in class 6th 9th and 11th.

BHU SET Eligibility Criteria
- For class VI the Age limit should be in between 10 Years to 12 years and must have passed a class exam from a school.
- For class IX the Age limit should be in between 13 Years to 15 years age and must have passed class VIII exam from a school.
- For class XI the age limit should be in between 18 Years maximum age and must have passed class X exam
For external candidates, coming through SET:
- Above 50% of marks or equivalent grade is necessary in each, Science and Maths for admission to Science group.
- Above 40% marks or equal grade in aggregate for commerce.
- Class Matriculations passed for Arts stream.
BHU SET Syllabus

- For Class VI: Question paper will be of class V standard. It will be comprised of 100 MCQs.
- For Class IX: Question paper will be of class VIII standard. It will be comprised of 100 MCQ
- For Class XI: Test question paper will be at class X standard. It will be comprised of 100 MCQs.
- For Maths Group: Subjects are English, Chemistry, Mathematics, Hindi, Physics and Gen. Studies.
- For Bio Group: Subjects are Physics, Chemistry, English, Hindi, Biology and Gen. Studies.

BHU SET Counselling
