CDS Exam 2024: The Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) organized Combined Defence Services(CDS) to select the candidates for various defence services. Every year number of candidates should appear for the defence entrance examination. The selection of the candidates is based on the written exam followed by an SSB interview for intelligence and personality test. Shortlisted candidates are based on their preferences and merit.
The mode of the exam is conducted in pen and paper mode. Eligibility Criteria for CDS Application Form 2024
The candidate should be an Indian citizen.
IMA: The age should be between 18 years and 22 years
INA: The age should be between 18 years and 22 years
IAF: The age should be between 18 years and 22 years
OTT: The age should be between 18 years and 22 years
OTA: The age should be between 18 years and 22 years
Exam Pattern:
The mode of the exam is offline and the type of questions will be objective type questions. There will be negative marking and 1/3 marks will be deducted for each answer

Selection Process:

How to Apply for CDS Exam Recruitment 2024?
- Go to the official website of
- Enter the personal and academic details in the application form.
- Upload the necessary documents required in the application form along with passport size photograph and signature.
- Before submitting the application form once verify the details.
- Pay the application form by using a debit card, credit card, and internet banking.
- Candidates should take a softcopy of the application form for future reference.
CDS 2024 Admit Card
Candidates will be issued the CDS exam admit card three weeks prior to the commencement of the exam. The admit card will be available on the official website of the UPSC. Candidates download the admit card from the official website and without the admit card, no candidate will be permitted to take the exam.
CDS 2024 Result
The result of the CDS 2024 will be announced on the official website of UPSC. Candidates will be selected based on the marks scored by the candidates in the written exam, and performance in the SSB test.
