How to Join Agniveer Yojana | Eligibility Criteria: The official recruitment regarding the Agniveer vacancy is released by the Indian Army under the Agnipath military recruitment. Interested candidates who wish to appear for Agniveer recruitment should submit the application form online mode. All Agniveers will be abandoned after four years of duty. After discharge of four years, Agniveer would receive a Seva Nidhi package to allow them to return to society and pursue jobs in other sectors.

The  Indian Army will conduct recruitment for the positions of Agniveer General Duty, Agniveer Clerk or Store Keeper, Agniveer Technical, Technical, and Agniveer Tradesman under the Agniveer vacancy. Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: The candidate’s age should be a minimum of 17 years and a maximum of 23 years. The authorities have raised the upper age limit from 21 years to 23 years.

Educational Qualification:

General Duty (All Arms): The candidate must complete the 10th standard with 45% and 33% in every subject is mandatory for recruitment.

Technical Aviation, Ammunition Examiner, All Arms: Aspirants should have passed 12th standard in Sciences with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English as subjects and at least 50% aggregate score.

Clerk or Store Keeper (Technical, All Arms): The candidate must be intermediate passed in any stream like Humanities, Commerce, or Science with a 60% marks aggregate score. It is mandatory to obtain 50% in English and Maths for the candidates.

Tradesmen (All Arms): The candidate must be in high school or 10th class from any recognized university and secure 33% in each subject.

Agniveer Tradesman (All Arms): The candidate should pass 8th grade from a recognized board and secure 33% marks in each subject.

Physical Standards Test (PST)

Physical Standards Test includes the following requirements

Height: 152.5 cm

Chest: Minimum expansion of 5 cm

Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

• PFT has a run of 1.6 kilometers which must be completed within 06 minutes and 30 seconds.
• Candidates have to execute 10 sit-ups, 10 push-ups, and 20 squats in the assigned time duration.

Exam Pattern and Syllabus

Science Subjects: The online test will be conducted for 60 minutes and will include subjects like Physics, English, and Mathematics from CBSE 12th standard pattern.

Other than Science Subjects: The online test will be commended for 45 minutes and will include Reasoning General Awareness and English.

Science and Other Science Subjects: The online test should be completed within 85 minutes and will have Physics, English, and Mathematics.
