Educational Qualification:

Petty Officer/Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR): Candidates passed 10+2 in any stream or equivalent examination from a recognized board.

Matric Recruits (MR):- Candidates only passed 10th /equivalent qualified.

Age Limit for Sailor Posts through Sports Quota Entry

Petty Officer: The candidate’s age limit must be between 17 to 22 years

Matric Recruits (MR)/ Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR): Candidates minimum required age is 17 and the maximum age is 21 years. (Age Relaxation for reserved categories like SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Women, as per Govt. Rules)

Physical Standards
Height – Minimum 157 Cms
Weight – Proportionate to height and age
Chest – Minimum 5 Cms expansion

Navy Sports Quota Selection and Recruitment Procedure

Candidates who are eligible and submit their application form before the last date, those will be called for selection trials at designated Naval Centers based on higher sports achievements. The authority will issue Call up letters to eligible short listed candidates.

The Admit card will be sent by Post office or by online mode, the admit card will contain the date, time and place for selection trial. After that qualified candidates will call for medical examination at INS Hamla, Mumbai. Candidate’s Final selection will based on requirement in particular sports, qualification, and availability of vacancies.

HOW TO APPLY Indian Navy Sports Quota Recruitment 2024

(a) Application Form:

• As per the official notification, The application will be submitted on A4 size paper only
• One candidate can send Only one application form, candidates who send more than one application form for the same post, those will be rejected.
• Candidates can be downloaded from by Internet: www.joinindiannavy.gov.in

(b) Envelops.

• The entry type, particular sports name, and achievements are written on top of the envelope of application form Example: Ag. PO/SSR/MR/NMR 01/2024 KABBADI – NATIONAL LEVEL

• Envelopes color should be brown. (c) List of Documents. The documents mentioned in the application

(d) Photographs.

• The Candidates must submit one additional recent passport size colored photograph with the application form.
• THE BACKGROUND OF THE PHOTOGRAPH SHOULD BE BLUE.
• Write name and signature behind of the photograph.
• Without photographs application form or not acceptable.
