Eligibility Criteria for MBA Entrance Exam

Candidates should pass the graduation from any recognized university for the basic eligibility criteria for MBA. The minimum score criteria for graduation is 50% on average and for reserved category candidates, the minimum score is 45% in aggregate. Final year graduation candidates are also eligible to apply for MBA and present the proof of completion of graduation degree within the duration specified by the institute.

Common Admission Test(CAT): The Common Admission Test is considered one of the hard and most prestigious entrance tests conducted in the country. Admission to IIMs and other top business schools in India is granted on the basis of the CAT score.

Management Aptitude Test(MAT): The All India Management Association(AIMA) conducts the Management Aptitude Test for offering admissions to qualified candidates to MBA courses. The test is conducted 4 times a year and the score of MAT is considered across India.

Common Management Admission Test(CMAT): The CMAT is conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE) to grant qualified candidates admissions into postgraduate management courses. Symbiosis National Aptitude Test(SNAP): The SNAP is conducted by Symbiosis International University in the month of December. The test is conducted in over cities and on the basis of marks secured in the test, enrolment is granted in different institutes of the Symbiosis University.

Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test(AP ICET): The AP ICET is organized with the aim of selecting candidates for admission into MBA degree courses. The candidates who meet the eligibility requirements of this test can fill in the application form which is released in the month of March.

Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test(TANCET): Anna University organizes TANCET to provide admissions to the applicants in the post-graduate degree programs.

Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test(TSICET): The TS ICET is conducted to grant applicants admissions to MBA courses. The exam is conducted in a computer-based mode at more than 15 regional centers.

Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test(JEMAT): The JEMAT is a state-level entrance exam in West Bengal for offering admissions to MBA courses.

How to apply for MBA courses?

  • The candidates will have to visit the respective websites of the B-school they are applying.
  • The online application will be available on respective B-School sites directed with headings.
  • Candidates will have to fill out their personal credentials, qualifications, work, and educational details in the form.
  • A valid email address and phone number will be required when filling out the application form.
  • Payment for the form can be made by modes like online payment like UPI, debit card, credit card, etc.
