Eligibility Criteria for SSC MTS Recruitment
Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for the SSC MTS exam. The candidate should pass the 10th class exam from a recognized educational board to be eligible. The age of the candidate should be between 18 years to 25 years and the age relaxation will be for reserved categories as per Government rules.
How to apply for SSC MTS Application Form 2024?
- The candidate must visit the official website of the SSC MTS exam.
- After visiting the official site the candidate should have filled in the personal details and academic details in the application form.
- Enter the details like the name of the candidate, address, contact number, etc. in the application form.
- A passport-size photograph of the candidate and signature should be attached in the format.
- Candidates will be provided to choose the exam center as per their choices.
- Candidates have to attach their other documents such as the 10th mark sheet, and category certificate.
- After uploading the documents the candidate needs to pay the application fee through debit card, credit card, and internet banking.
- The candidate must take out the printout copy of the application form for future use.
SSC MTS Application Fee
The application fee for SSC MTS will be 100/- and the application fee is exempted for reserved category candidates. All female candidates are exempted from paying the application fee. Candidates can make payments through net banking, debit card, and credit card.
Exam Pattern
The mode of the exam will be offline i.e., pen and paper-based. There will be two papers. Paper 1 consists of objective-type questions and paper 2 will consist of descriptive types. The exam language will be both English and Hindi. The duration of the paper 1 exam is 1 hour 30 minutes and the paper 2 exam is 30 minutes. There will be a negative marking of 1/4th mark for each wrong answer.
SSC MTS 2024 Syllabus
English Language: Reading Comprehension, phrases, and idioms fill in the blanks, spellings, synonyms and antonyms, one-word substitution, error spotting, sentence correction.
Reasoning: Analogy, classification, coding and decoding, matrix, word formation, blood relation, missing numbers, direction, puzzles, nonverbal reasoning, verbal reasoning.
Numerical Ability: Speed, distance, time, simplification, interest, average, ratio and proportion, number system, mensuration, time and result, data interpretation, mixture problem, algebra, geometry, trigonometry.
General Awareness: Award and honors, static GK, science, current affairs, dates, and portfolios.
Admit Card
The candidate must visit the official website. The admit card will be made available before the examination. The admit card is an important document for the candidate’s roll number, examination center, reporting time, etc. The candidate can download the admit card using their registration id and password. The candidate will also have to carry a valid photo id along with admit card. The candidate will not bring the admit card and will not be allowed to appear in the examination.
Result
The candidate will be published on the official website of the authority. The final result will be announced and verify the results in the official site. Enter the details like roll number, and name of the candidate, and the result will appear on the screen candidates.
Selection Process
The merit list of the SSC MTS exam is prepared by the authorities considering the applicant’s performance in both papers. The candidates who will qualify the paper 1 will be allowed for paper 2. Once qualified both papers are, the officials of SSC MTS will invite the qualified candidates for the document verification procedure. After the successful completion of the document verification process, the candidate will be allotted to the respective post they applied for in the application form.
